Easy 1-hour walk

Mountain breakfast (depends on the weather):
Join us for a hike or bike ride from the resort to a very special and energetic spot, where a hearty breakfast awaits – lovingly prepared by Anni and Franz. After your feast, enjoy a relaxing morning with music, refreshing Kneipp therapy in a mountain stream, or a leisurely walk. It’s the perfect blend of nature and indulgence.

Tux Alpine pasture hike:
Leisurely panoramic hike to the most beautiful Alpine pastures in the Tuxertal valley (Höllenstein, Grieralm, Bichlalm, Zillergrund, Eggalm, Brandalm)

Sunrise hike:
Alarm set? The challenging sunrise hike begins at 4 a.m. Once at the top, a wonderful natural spectacle awaits you. Then head back to Adler Inn for an extensive breakfast.

HIKE from NINE to WINE:
A unique combination of hiking and wine tasting. Carefully selected, top-quality wines are presented by our sommeliers, Barbara and Günther Stock, in an unforgettable setting.

Summit tour for the brave:
Demanding 4- to 5-hour summit hikes to Ramsjoch pass, Olperer hut, Pfitscher Joch pass, Mt Frauenwand, or Mt Grüblspitze-Lake Torsee – with a chance to take a refreshing dip for the truly courageous.

Herb walk with Anni:
Join herbal expert Anni on an exploration tour. Learn to identify and gather herbs, then make your own herb salt, oils or tea from what you’ve collected.

Forest bathing with Anni:
Enjoy the soothing silence, breathe in the resinous scent of the forest, and fill your lungs with oxygen. But forest bathing with Anni is about more than that: it’s a deeply mindful experience in untouched nature that restores body and spirit. • Fun toboggan evening once a week
• Pure skiing fun! Our hotel’s own shuttle will take you directly to the best ski slopes in just four minutes (daily 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.).

Details about snow-shoe hikes and nature experiences

• Leisurely panoramic snow-shoe hike to the beautifully situated Bichlalm hut with a stop for refreshment; approx. 3 hours
• Adventure snowshoe hike with trained guide and host Anni Stock to Höllenstein hut followed by a toboggan descent; approx. 4 hours
• After our gourmet dinner, you have the opportunity to take part in the weekly night-time toboggan fun with Günther and Paul. Join them on the hike to a rustic hut for a cosy get-together. Afterwards, enjoy the wind on the light-flooded and safe toboggan run (for a fee).
• Romantic lantern walk: After the short walk around Nösslau, we invite you to enjoy mulled wine, snacks, and a musical surprise on our terrace.

Ice Palace
Visit Nature’s Ice Palace on the Hintertux Glacier
The Nature’s Ice Palace near our family hotel at the Hintertux Glacier is a spectacular natural wonder, offering an underground world of ice and light for young and old explorers alike. The entrance to the mystical cave is at the very top, near the observation deck on the “Gefrorene Wand” at 3,250 metres above sea level. With a professional guide, you venture deep into this palace shaped by nature: Into the crystal chamber with its shimmering ice crystals, through a walkable glacier crevasse, past frozen waterfalls, across a glacier lake to the blue chamber, and the red-lit ice chapel. Explore the sparkling crystal chamber, stroll through a walkable glacier crevasse, pass frozen waterfalls, and cross a glacier lake to reach the mesmerising blue chamber and the red-lit ice chapel. The highlight is the Ice Palace itself, soaring 15 metres high. The cave can be visited all year round.
